Original Representational Oil Paintings

Sparrows and Hydrangea, Late Summer Twilight (detail)

Full Painting on Display in the Floral Compositions Collection under the Works Tab

Welcome to my website!

All paintings are original oil paintings created from direct observation (outdoors or indoors) and studio work.  Working directly from life fills my mind with the truths of nature that I see before me.  Studio work allows these painted and drawn impressions to come together into a meaningful concept before I paint.

I hope you enjoy the paintings you find on display.
